0.5.7 — 2026-10-19

LaraEnv 0.5.7 improves Windows startup, local HTTPS and SSH reliability, and adds optional Laravel evidence for assistants.

  • SSH identity verification and saved passwords: integrated connections share known_hosts, reject changed keys and protect saved passwords with Windows DPAPI, including portable-account recovery.
  • HTTPS across PHP and Node preserves the local CA and custom trust settings. HTTPS controls persist their state across enable/disable/re-enable.
  • Laravel context through MCP adds bounded daily/single logs, read-only attributed Mailpit messages and a diagnostic prompt/resource. The optional metadata collector remains experimental, requires explicit local activation and was validated with Laravel 12; Laravel 10/11/13 and Octane remain unverified.
  • WebView2 startup recovers from a stale runtime registration. Terminal shells start on first use, including restored layouts, and the project workspace has more room.

Local development remains free. Cloud sync and VPS deployments retain the existing Pro plan. The public repository continues to distribute binaries, documentation and translations; desktop source remains private.

0.5.6 — 2026-10-16

LaraEnv 0.5.6 makes project commands available directly in the details panel and adds observed agent activity.

  • Project scripts and custom commands run in a project terminal using its detected package manager, PHP and Node runtimes, and preferred shell.
  • Dev controls are available for package.json projects without a recognized framework. Laravel queue controls remain visible without JavaScript tooling.
  • Scripts such as watch and build run as defined, without forced Dev-server port arguments.
  • The optional Agent map shows supported Claude Code and Codex descendants, background tasks, and confirmed activity in the footer, with explicit observation limits.
  • The activity counter hides when observation ends or no eligible agent terminal is selected, while retained session maps remain available.

0.5.5 — 2026-10-12

LaraEnv 0.5.5 brings automatic project runtimes, Site Doctor, and a clearer Projects page. Public downloads resolve to the latest release published on GitHub.

  • A compact Projects list with search, client tags, pagination, and a separate details panel.
  • Two customizable row shortcuts and Projects colors that follow the selected theme.
  • Automatic PHP and Node detection from each checkout's declarations, with manual overrides and missing-version guidance.
  • Site Doctor for one or all projects, health filters, individual repairs, optional storage links, and clearer inconclusive database results.
