Account & optional cloud
Projects, runtimes, services, terminals, files, Git, SSH, cron, presets and local deployments need no LaraEnv account, plan or API validation in the current desktop source. The desktop is open source under Apache-2.0; the hosted backend remains separate and private.
Signing in
Cloud integration starts disabled, including for older profiles that have not explicitly opted in. A saved token or an old sync preference does not enable it. In Settings → Account, enable the integration only if you want hosted services, then sign in or register using email/password or GitHub OAuth.
The hosted account is shared with laraenv.com. Its plan and entitlements apply to the hosted service. You can leave the integration disabled and keep using local desktop features.
The Account page
With integration enabled, this area provides hosted account, plan, session and service controls. Cloud Sync and billing are optional hosted functions; they do not unlock the local deployment engine.

Initial downloads, remote Git, SSH, certificate issuance, updates and external providers still need their own networks and credentials. Local independence from the LaraEnv API does not remove those requirements.
Hosted account and plan management
Use the optional cloud area or web dashboard to manage hosted services and any subscription. Check the hosted offer and checkout for its current terms. Changing a hosted plan does not change local feature access.
Disabling cloud integration preserves saved connection details, session/key/sync preferences and local projects, hosts, cron jobs, presets, workspaces and deployments. It does not undo SSH commands already sent. Check the captured host before repeating an interrupted remote operation.
Release 0.5.7 and older images can show the former Free/Pro gating. These guides describe the current source; no new official binary is announced here.
