Contributing

The canonical LaraEnv desktop repository contains the source, releases, public guides, translations and issue tracker. Original desktop code is licensed under Apache-2.0. Third-party components retain their own licenses; see NOTICE and the licensing guide.

Contribute code

Read CONTRIBUTING.md before opening a pull request. The development guide covers builds and checks. The Wails application, frontend and interface catalogues live under desktop/; shared Go packages remain at the repository root.

Local desktop features need no LaraEnv account or subscription. The hosted cloud backend and this website's source remain separately maintained and private; they are not required to build or use the local desktop.

Report bugs and request features

Open an issue on the GitHub repository. Include your version or source commit, Windows version, and the steps that reproduce the problem. Report vulnerabilities privately through SECURITY.md.

Improve these docs

The public repository accepts pull requests for its docs/ guides and desktop/langs/ interface translations. For these separately hosted guides, open an issue with the page URL and your suggested correction.

Help others

Answer questions and share reproducible examples. Release 0.5.7 and earlier screenshots can predate the current local, account-independent model; identify the version when explaining a difference. See the Changelog for the historical release notes.
